What is the old
saying, “work smarter, not harder”?
What if you have a
2 or 3 story home or you are moving into or out of the 2nd or
3rd story of an apartment building, and you need to get your
piano to the proper floor. Moving a dresser or large television is hard
enough, BUT A PIANO? YIKES! It can definitely get away from you, no
matter how many bodybuilders you might have behind it.
To move your piano
Up & Down stairs, we use a unique piece of equipment known as the
"Stair Climber”.
“He has the
most interesting machine. Once the piano is sitting on this machine it
will literally just walk the piano up the stairs!” – Jamie Ahlstedt,
Houston area customer

The Stair Climber allows us to move and maneuver
your piano up and down several
flights of stairs and around tight corners

In A Single Bound!
Very few moving
companies, let alone other piano moving companies, actually own one of
these very important pieces of equipment. Why? They are very expensive
to own, but WE BELIEVE YOUR PIANO WAS WORTH THE INVESTMENT!
For those of you
with a Grand Piano – it is a precious item in your collection. To move it properly, we use an apparatus called a “Grand
Board”. The pedals and legs of your Grand Piano must be
removed then individually wrapped and secured for safe transport and
relocation.
Proper disassembly,
wrapping and handling are critical►
The piano cabinet
is then securely strapped to the “Grand Board” and set atop a
dolly to properly transport it to and from your location to our delivery
vehicle with a lift gate.
Over the years, I
have seen other moving companies attempt to maneuver a piano much like a
dining room table - propped on its side and SQUEEZED through a doorway
(without removing the pedals and legs). SCARY!

Add our
30 years plus experience moving NOTHING BUT PIANOS
along with our use of two rarely
used pieces of equipment - the “Stair Climber” and the “Grand
Board” – you can feel secure and confident that your piano will be
in the hands of true professionals at Dad & Brad Piano Moving.
